Russian exchange program as part of 'St. Petersburg 2003  

In 2003 St. Petersburg is celebrating its 300th anniversary. Throughout the year festivals will be presented with as theme the countries with which this city maintains commercial or other relationships. At the beginning of September 2003 the Dutch Women and Music Foundation will present two concerts in the Netherlands with a number of new works by Dutch composers by the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble. Concerts take palce during the International Gaudeamus Music Week. Venues and dates will be announced at a later date.

The ensemble will subsequently perform this program in St. Petersburg and on a short tour through Russia. Valéria Gorokhovskaya, who has considerable experience in arranging concerts, festivals, tours and exchange programs between Russia and the Netherlands, is in charge of the organization of this international project. (programm tour through Russia)
